The highest level of service
At Sitter’s Registry, we screen our caregivers as if they were caring for someone in our family. We have an extensive vetting process to ensure we find those individuals with the highest levels of compassion and concern for others. All of our employees/caregivers must complete all SC DHEC requirements such as Criminal B/G reports, annual TB Testing, health assessments, clean driving records and drug testing. Our caregivers have a range of backgrounds and specialized skills, from personal care and home care to nurse assistant training. Our caregivers work with families in Greenville and the surrounding area to meet a range of adult care service needs.
As part of our caregiver selection process, we conduct in-depth interviews, consult references, and conduct background checks before engaging anyone in any capacity to represent Sitter’s Registry. We also encourage continuing education for the betterment of our caregivers and service for our clients. Many of our caregivers have training as nursing or medical assistants, providing ideal qualifications for families looking for a home care nurse to assist with home health services. More and more clients have long-term care insurance that usually requires a state-licensed CNA. We do not provide healthcare or home health services but we will work with families and physicians in helping them pursue these options upon request.
Being a caregiver at Sitter’s Registry is about our 3 C’s: Compassion, Character, and Competence. Our team of caregivers has a deep sense of calling to elder care and it drives their compassion for those in their care. Their character is of the utmost importance to us because it is the foundation of in-home care. Competence is critical. We make sure potential caregivers have experience and the necessary knowledge of in-home care. These are professionals who take their role seriously and want to help make the client’s day better.
